We believe scent has a funny way of taking you places. A warm afternoon. Your favourite holiday. Fresh sheets at home. A memory you didn’t even know you remembered. That’s the idea behind Mabangó.
Inspired by the beauty, warmth and scents of the Philippines, we create laundry essentials that make taking care of your clothes feel a little less like a chore — and a lot more like a ritual. Our fragrances are inspired by places we love, moments we want to hold onto and that feeling of putting on something that smells really, really good.
Because laundry is something we all have to do. Might as well make it smell amazing.
Why laundry?
Mabangó started with a simple idea: what if laundry could feel like something you actually look forward to?
Growing up, I remember watching my mother wash, sort and iron every single piece of clothing while I sat nearby watching Oprah, followed by The Bold and the Beautiful. Back then, I thought laundry was just another chore. Looking back, I see it differently. It was care. Taking the time to wash the clothes we lived in, loved in, travelled in, went to school in and wore while making all those little memories. And scent has this incredible ability to bring those memories right back.
That became the idea behind Mabangó: turning an everyday chore into a little ritual of care through really, really good fragrance. Inspired by my Filipino roots, the places I love and the memories I want to hold onto, we’re creating a new kind of laundry cupboard. From Laundry Perfume and Detergent Sheets to Fabric Spray, Soap Bars and all the little things still to come.
Because laundry will always need doing. We just think it can be a lot more fun. Thank you for letting Mabangó become a tiny part of your homes, wardrobes and laundry days. We’re only getting started. 💗

At House of Mabangó, sustainability isn’t a trend, it’s at the heart of everything we do. We believe in making thoughtful choices that reduce our impact on the planet, while creating products that are both functional and beautiful.
- Packaging with purpose – All of our cartons are made from FSC-certified paper sourced from responsibly managed forests. We are continuously exploring new ways to improve, working with recycled, recyclable, and biodegradable materials where possible.
- Conscious formulations – Across our collection, each product is thoughtfully formulated with skin-friendly ingredients and a clear purpose. Where possible, we work with plant-based components; where performance, stability, or safety requires it, we choose carefully developed ingredients. Our focus is on intentional formulas and clear labeling, so customers can choose what feels right for them.
- Giving back to the sea – We partner with Save Philippine Seas, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting coastal and marine ecosystems. With every order, 1% goes directly toward conserving the seas that inspire our brand.
We know the sustainability journey never ends. As we learn more, we promise to do more but today, we’re proud of the steps we’ve already taken and excited for what’s ahead.

Let's talk about SPS
If there were a movie made about the Philippine seas, it should be called Crazy Rich Oceans. The Philippines has been described as the center of marine biodiversity — but also the center of marine adversity.
Save Philippine Seas (SPS) is a non-profit organization that aims to empower seatizens towards collective action and behavior change. Our projects fall under three pillars: Waste Management and Circular Economy, Shark Conservation, and Environmental Education and Ocean Climate Action.
