Mabangó’s DNA is really rooted in this idea of creating stories and memories through scent and to find pleasure in daily rituals of care. There is a sticker on our laundry detergent box that sums up words like; sunsets, seashells and tan lines to remind everyone to step into the Mabangó world and escape the mundane, even just for a cycle, or two.
So you might be asking, “Why Laundry?”
I remember watching my mother do the laundry; washing, sorting and then ironing every piece while I would watch Oprah followed by The Bold and the Beautiful with her (for those wondering, I’m a 90’s kid and this was all we watched after school and before dinner). I always thought laundry to be quite mundane. It turns out, it were the rituals of care. So I thought, why not bring pleasure to these daily
rituals, by making garments smell like summer and sunsets and remind us of all the amazing memories we made in them. Something only a scent can do.
I’m so excited to let you in on the new product formats we’re creating to make your laundry rituals even more enjoyable. Thank you for being part of our journey, your support inspires us every step of the way. I can’t wait to share more.

Our Philosophy on
Sustainability
At House of Mabangó, sustainability isn’t a trend, it’s at the heart of everything we do. We believe in making thoughtful choices that reduce our impact on the planet, while creating products that are both functional and beautiful.
- Packaging with purpose – All of our cartons are made from FSC-certified paper sourced from responsibly managed forests. We are continuously exploring new ways to improve, working with recycled, recyclable, and biodegradable materials where possible.
- Conscious formulations– Across our collection, every product is crafted with carefully selected, plant-based and skin-friendly ingredients. Free from unnecessary harsh chemicals, designed to be gentle for people and mindful of the environment.
- Giving back to the sea – We partner with Save Philippine Seas, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting coastal and marine ecosystems. With every order, 1% goes directly toward conserving the seas that inspire our brand.
We know the sustainability journey never ends. As we learn more, we promise to do more but today, we’re proud of the steps we’ve already taken and excited for what’s ahead.

Mabangó Magazine
This volume, our very first, is an ode to our rituals of care. A little read while you wait for that laundry to dry. Get to know Saskia Koerner, the woman behind the lens of our campaign shoot in Bali as she talks about photography, how she stays inspired and the things she is most passionate about. Get to know Charise on a deeper level as she shares how Mabangó started, what gets her up and running in the morning and about her own rituals of care. And most importantly, get to know Anna the woman behind Save Philippine Seas. SPS is the non-profit organization we work with, donating 1% of each order made through our website to their important cause; aiming to conserve coastal and marine resources by empowering citizens for collective action and behavior change.
